How to Make a Lone Star

  1. Goto "Block Library", under "Classic Pieced" select the basic eight point star.
  2. Open the star to edit it.
  3. Using the Edit Tool select one of the lines in the star.
  4. Click on the small black square in the bottom right hand corner of the Edit Tool. This will bring up the Edit menu.
  5. In the box next to the "Partition" option, type in 5. Then click on the "Partition" option.
  6. Repeat this operation for each of the lines. Then connect the nodes to get the layout correct.
