Outside World

This is Pharaoh taking his first journey down his new cast run! It took just one weekend to build, we did it from scratch and it cost about $250. We were a bit worried he would be scared of the tunnels but there was no hesitation as he ran down the main tunnel (that connects to the house through a cat door) to the "pen" area. We are planning to extend the run to give him more area to play in. Pharaoh now has the choice of being inside or going outside. He can now get some fresh air without being a threat to the native wildlife or having to worry about him being attacked by other cats.

Pharaoh is checking out next doors backyard. That yard is home to three very large black cats. The male cat likes to sit on top of Pharaohs cage and tunnel and have a swipe at him! The grass growing at the bottom of the cage is a great place to hide and watch the magpies in the garden!

This is Pharaoh looking in from the tunnel. He quite often sits there and gets a lovely cool breeze in the evening when its too hot in the house. He can also keep an eye on use humans to make sure we aren't getting up to too much trouble.
